We currently have 7 kids, 2 dogs, and more tha a million "employees" (depending upon the weather/season), all of which keep us busy! Rich is the wrangler of the bees and manages our four locations when he isn't working his full-time job. Sally dons a beesuit only rarely but loves the creative opportunities .
Our bee colonies live along Onion Creek where they thrive with access to water and nectar. We are passionate about maintaining strong, healthy bees that produce fantastic, local wildflower honey.
With four generations of Baylor graduates, the Beggs Family is proud to provide Indy and Belle, the live Black Bear mascots, with their honey snacks.
We offer “raw” honey which means it has been spun out of the natural beeswax honey combs and contains enzymes and natural pollen. This process allows the honey to maintain the smell and taste of our local flora. Since honey is naturally antibacterial, there is no need to subject the raw honey to heat or pasteurization!.
